Muthiah holds a Ph.D. in synthetic organic chemistry from Hyderabad Central University in India, complemented by postdoctoral research at NC State University, Osaka University, and the University of Göttingen. Esther held roles at the Ludwig Institute for Cancer Research, Merck, and Regeneron, as well as consulted as a global regulatory affairs expert. She has extensive experience working directly with global regulatory authorities, including the FDA, EMA, Health Canada, and others, ensuring compliance and facilitating successful submissions.

Esther’s technical expertise includes managing INDs, IDEs, DMFs, BLAs, and regulatory submissions in CTD and eCTD formats. She is skilled in utilizing advanced tools such as GlobalSubmit, Extedo, Insight, and MS Project for electronic submissions, project planning, and documentation. Since 2022, he has served as an Independent Executive Commercial Consultant, assuming roles like Chief Operating Officer and Chief Commercial Officer for startup pharmaceutical organizations, including specialty acquisition companies and public spin-offs. Gina is an accomplished Human Resources professional with over two decades of human resources management and leadership experience. She holds a bachelor’s degree in business management with a concentration in Human Resource Management. Dr. Aruna Earla serves as the Director of the Research and Development group at Benuvia Operations, where she has been working since 2020. She is involved in the process development of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs). With approximately 20 years of experience in pharmaceutical research, development, and manufacturing within the CRO and CDMO sectors, Dr. Earla brings a wealth of expertise to her role. She holds an M.S. in Organic Chemistry, an M.S. in Biotechnology, and a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry. Her extensive experience in organic synthesis covers a wide range of chemistries, including cannabinoids and psychedelics. Dr. Earla’s contributions are significant, spanning from initial route scouting to the commercial manufacturing of APIs. Before joining Benuvia, she held Research Scientist positions at Alembic, Dr. Reddy’s, Olon-Ricerca Biosciences, and Nanosyn.

Joe brings over a decade of experience in GMP manufacturing, supply chain optimization, and project leadership. He specializes in the commercialization of APIs and finished drug products, plant-based therapies, and controlled substances, while driving cost efficiencies and ensuring compliance with FDA and DEA regulations.

Mr. Awuah-Mensah has a Pharm.D. degree with over 13 years of experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry. Prior to joining Benuvia, Mr. Awuah-Mensah worked for Insys Manufacturing, Austin Pharma, and Hospira. Godfrey is responsible for API and Drug Product Manufacturing.

Rebecca is an experienced scientist with over 20 years of laboratory work in various fields ranging from clinical diagnostic laboratories to reference standard manufacturing and pharmaceutical quality testing. She received her undergraduate degree in Chemistry from Eastern New Mexico University and quickly developed a strong interest in instrumentation and analytical testing through her time with various high-volume laboratories. She has spent over 10 years performing laboratory testing at manufacturing sites like Hospira, Millipore Sigma and Benuvia with the majority of those years focused on analytical method development, transfer, and optimization. Rebecca brings a unique perspective to the Analytical Development group to ensure all project work is accurately performed to the highest quality standards.

Arijan holds a BS in Biochemistry and a BS in Biology, with a minor in Chemistry. He is also a published author in the FASEB Journal for his research on nucleotide bonding interactions with various metal ions. Over the past eight years, he has built a strong foundation in the pharmaceutical industry, working with prominent companies such as Eurofins, Bayer, and Heska. His role at Benuvia covers all aspects of quality control testing and stability program management, as well as equipment maintenance, qualification, and material procurement.

Dr. Reddy is an accomplished synthetic organic chemist with over 25 years of experience in the synthesis of complex molecules. Dr. Reddy came to Benuvia in August 2024 after working over 20 years as Principal Scientist at Merck KGaA. At Merck KGaA Dr. Reddy has made many significant contributions in the areas of Research and Development of new product and process development and in the implementation of new technologies. Dr. Reddy has two U.S. Patents and published fifteen papers and made several presentations to national conferences and professional groups. Dr. Reddy holds Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry and a master’s degree in Organic Chemistry from the Osmania University, Hyderabad, and a Ph.D. in Synthetic Organic Chemistry from the National Chemical Laboratory, Pune, India. Dr. Reddy trained in the field of synthetic organic chemistry and medicinal chemistry as Postdoctoral Fellow at University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas, Texas, and at State University of New York at Buffalo, New York.
